We were lucky enough to spend some time with Ra Light. He answered a few questions for Hits You love Radio.

What is your music background?
In Elementary School, at the end of every year we would sing a song to celebrate our graduation. I would freestyle hip hop songs on the radio

Who are your musical influences?
(Eminem, 50 Cent, Ab-Soul, Mac Miller….)

What are your long-term career goals?
Dropping some songs regarding Hip Hop, RnB, any genre that interest me

What type of recording process do you use and who produced your recording?
Studio Microphone, Headphones and K$D does most of my recording. Two songs were produced by a Fresh in VA. I can’t really recall the name of every producer.

Do you ever get the chance to perform live?
I’ve never performed live.

Are you looking for to remain independent or to get a major label deal?
I’m a member of Red Mutant Menace Warrior.

If anything, what would you change about the music industry today?
Make it so everyone gets more per streaming

Do you have any advice for up-and-coming artists?
It’s dope that you can write and kill a song but learn the music industry in and out so you can see results in your earning.
