Check Out This New Artist: Benny Stark

Get up on this awesome new artist. We caught up with Benny Stark the other day and he was nice enough to answer a few questions for us.

What is your music background?
I started music by writing lyrics when I was pretty young. Somewhere along the line I stopped writing. However, now I’m back at it. I always sing along with the lyrics of great rappers and singers. This helps me build my music skills.

Who are your musical influences?
Some artist that influence me richly are Lil Wayne, Micheal Jackson, Bruno Mars, xxxtentacion, ynw melly, Gucci Mane

What are your long-term career goals?
To add colors and meaning to the world, as much as I can with my music and also to cure depression with music.

What type of recording process do you use and who produced your recording?
I produced all my tracks myself from scratch. Usually, I do the hard work all myself. My art is unique and musical.

Are you looking for to remain independent or to get a major label deal?
Independence is a good thing, but when being independent doesn’t work you need help, and that help can come through a record deal.

If anything, what would you change about the music industry today?
Can’t say much because I haven’t personally hit any big rock on the road, but the industry should upgrade its mentality on new artist.

Do you have any advice for up-and-coming artists?
What advice would an up and coming artist give to another up and coming artist, rather than saying we should keep it straight and professional. This will keep us soaring higher.

Anything else you want to say on the people?
I will love to tell the people to go listen to my songs, I will truly appreciate if a review will be drop because it will help me a lot on my next project. I will also love to tell the people to stay strong and stay away from unhealthy competition because that’s the root of depression and anxiety.
