Multi-talented recording artist Marcin VIIVIIVII has performed across the country from Chicago to Los Angeles to Seattle. He has released four mixtapes, 1 EP, and his debut album “Next Level.”

Marcin VIIVIIVII wrote and produced all of his music. He owns his own label. Plus, he aims to make each song a completely unique experience from the last.

We caught up we Marcin VIIVIIVII not too long ago. He was nice enough to answer a few questions for Hits You Love Radio.

What is your music background?

Started making music in 2012 mostly lryical rap but have sinced made trap, emo, punk, drill & boombap songs.

Who are your musical influences?

My original influences are Eminem, Hopsin, The Underachievers, Flatbush Zombies. Current people I admire are XXXtentacion, Scarlxrd, Merkules, Tom Macdonald.

What are your long-term career goals?

Just keep making music, improving at it in any way possible. I would like to make sure that I keep building my fan base bigger every year. My largest goal is to have a platinum selling record.

What type of recording process do you use and who produced your recording?

Since 2017 I’ve made all my own beats, excluding the beats on remixes. I mix, master, and record all my own music. The process is simple. I smoke a backwood, make a beat, write lryics, then record it. I always put how I’m feeling into my music> If I’m mad I will scream. If I’m happy, I might sing.

Where have you performed live?

All over the united states, most notably in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Seattle.

Are you looking for to remain independent or to get a major label deal?

At this point I plan on staying Indie.

If anything, what would you change about the music industry today?

More power to the artists.

Do you have any advice for up-and-coming artists?

Don’t waste your time with Soundcloud. Get on major streaming platforms. Make sure you are always getting paid on all your royalties.
